RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
This Returns & Cancellations Policy applies to eligible products purchased from Valper Home Solutions LLC through our website or other applicable direct sales channels.
Valper cabinetry is manufactured, prepared, configured, and finished for each order. Because production and material allocation may begin shortly after an order is received, cancellations and returns are subject to the conditions below.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1. PAYMENT FOR ONLINE MODULAR ORDERS
Modular cabinetry purchased through the Valper Home Solutions website requires 100% payment at the time the order is placed.
Payment confirms the order and allows Valper to begin the applicable order-processing, material allocation, preparation, and manufacturing process.
2. 48-HOUR CANCELLATION PERIOD
Customers may request cancellation of an eligible online modular cabinetry order within 48 hours from the time the order is placed.
If an eligible cancellation request is received within this 48-hour period, Valper Home Solutions will:
- Cancel the applicable order; and
- Refund the amount received by Valper for the canceled order without imposing a Valper cancellation fee.
Cancellation requests should include the customer’s name and order number.
3. PAYMENT PROCESSING AND FINANCING FEES
Valper Home Solutions does not charge its own cancellation fee for an eligible cancellation made within the initial 48-hour period.
However, certain third-party charges may not be refundable.
Payment processing fees, financing charges, transaction fees, or other amounts retained or designated as non-refundable by Stripe, Affirm, banks, card processors, financing providers, or other third-party payment services are outside Valper’s control.
Valper is not responsible for refunding amounts that Valper did not retain or that a third-party provider does not return to Valper as part of the refund transaction.
4. HOW TO REQUEST A CANCELLATION
A cancellation request must be submitted to Valper within the applicable 48-hour cancellation period.
Customers should provide:
- Full name
- Order number
- Email or telephone number associated with the order
- Request to cancel the order
The time the request is received by Valper will be used to determine whether it falls within the applicable cancellation period.
Submitting a cancellation request does not extend the 48-hour period.
5. FINAL SALE AFTER 48 HOURS
After 48 hours from the time an order is placed, the order becomes FINAL SALE.
After this period:
NO CANCELLATIONS AND NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED.
This policy applies because Valper cabinetry may be manufactured, configured, prepared, finished, or have materials allocated specifically for the customer’s order.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing their product selections before completing their purchase.
6. ORDER CHANGES
Customers who need to request a change should contact Valper as soon as possible.
Changes requested during the initial 48-hour period are subject to Valper’s ability to accommodate the requested modification.
A requested change is not considered accepted until Valper confirms it.
Once production, material preparation, fabrication, finishing, or other order-specific work has begun, changes may not be possible.
If Valper agrees to a modification that results in additional materials, fabrication, labor, packaging, shipping, or other costs, the customer may be responsible for those additional charges.
7. CUSTOMER SELECTIONS
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the selections associated with their order, including when applicable:
- Module size
- Configuration
- Material
- Finish
- Color
- Quantity
- Gola or Handle opening system
- Profile finish or color
- Accessories
- Appliance information
- Shipping information
- Other selected options
After the applicable cancellation period, an incorrect selection made by the customer does not create a right to return or cancel the order.
8. CUSTOM AND ORDER-SPECIFIC PRODUCTS
Products manufactured, modified, finished, or prepared according to customer selections are considered order-specific products.
This may include cabinetry produced according to a selected:
- Size
- Configuration
- Material
- Color
- Finish
- Opening system
- Profile finish
- Appliance configuration
- Other customer-selected option
These products are subject to the Final Sale provisions of this policy after the initial 48-hour cancellation period.
9. APPLIANCE INFORMATION AND CUSTOM OPENINGS
When Valper fabricates or prepares cabinetry to accommodate a particular appliance, the customer is responsible for providing the exact information requested by Valper.
This may include:
- Manufacturer
- Brand
- Model
- Manufacturer specifications
- Required cutout dimensions
- Installation specifications
- Other relevant technical information
Nominal appliance dimensions do not necessarily represent the manufacturer’s required cutout dimensions.
Valper is not responsible for incompatibility resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or subsequently changed appliance information provided by the customer or another third party.
An issue resulting from incorrect customer-supplied appliance information does not create a right to return the cabinetry.
10. SCRATCHES AND COSMETIC ISSUES
A scratch, cosmetic issue, or damage affecting an individual replaceable component does not automatically qualify the complete cabinet, module, or kitchen for return.
Valper cabinetry is designed so that many individual components can be serviced or replaced when appropriate.
Depending on the product, replaceable components may include:
- Doors
- Drawer fronts
- Decorative panels
- Hardware
- Other individual cabinetry components
Valper will evaluate the affected component and determine the appropriate resolution.
11. VALPER-RESPONSIBLE ISSUES
If Valper determines that an incorrect, defective, damaged, or improperly fabricated component resulted from an error or condition for which Valper Home Solutions is responsible, Valper will provide an appropriate solution.
When the issue can reasonably be resolved by replacing an individual component, Valper will provide the applicable replacement component at no cost to the customer, including applicable shipping for that replacement component.
Replacement of an individual component does not automatically require replacement or return of the complete cabinet, module, or kitchen.
12. REPLACEMENT ASSISTANCE
When appropriate, Valper may provide:
- Replacement components
- Instructional videos
- Written instructions
- Reasonable technical guidance
These resources are intended to make straightforward replacement of serviceable components easier when replacement of the entire product is unnecessary.
13. REPORTING AN ISSUE
Customers requesting assistance for a damaged, incorrect, or potentially defective component may be required to provide:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photographs
- Video when appropriate
- Photograph of the complete cabinet or module
- Photograph of the affected component
- Packaging photographs when transportation damage may be involved
- Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the issue
Valper must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect, evaluate, and determine the appropriate resolution before unauthorized repair, modification, disposal, or replacement of the product.
14. SHIPPING DAMAGE
Damage occurring during transportation is governed by Valper’s separate Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Visible or concealed shipping damage must be reported to Valper Home Solutions within 48 hours after delivery, as specified in that policy.
Customers should retain the product, packaging, pallet materials, shipping labels, and relevant delivery documentation while a shipping claim is being evaluated.
Shipping damage does not automatically create a right to return the complete order when the affected component can reasonably be repaired or replaced.
15. CUSTOMER OR THIRD-PARTY DAMAGE
Returns, refunds, or free replacement are not provided for damage resulting from circumstances outside Valper’s responsibility, including:
- Improper handling
- Incorrect storage
- Improper installation
- Unauthorized modifications
- Accidents or impact
- Misuse
- Failure to follow applicable installation instructions
- Damage caused by contractors or installers
- Damage caused by the customer
- Damage caused by other third parties
Any applicable warranty rights remain subject to Valper’s separate Warranty Policy.
16. COLOR, TEXTURE AND APPEARANCE
Digital images, renders, photographs, samples, lighting conditions, and computer or mobile displays may cause colors and finishes to appear differently.
Certain materials may also exhibit normal variations in texture, pattern, grain, surface appearance, or finish.
Reasonable material or appearance variation that is characteristic of the selected product does not automatically constitute a defect or create a right to return the order.
17. REFUNDS
Approved refunds will be issued through an appropriate payment method based on the original transaction and available payment-processing procedures.
The time required for an approved refund to appear in a customer’s account may depend on the payment processor, financing provider, card issuer, or financial institution.
Valper does not control third-party processing times after a refund has been properly submitted.
18. AFFIRM AND OTHER FINANCING PROVIDERS
Orders paid through Affirm or another financing provider remain subject to this Returns & Cancellations Policy.
Any financing-specific refund procedures, financing charges, account adjustments, or processing requirements may also be governed by the financing provider’s applicable terms.
Valper cannot modify or waive independent terms imposed by a third-party financing provider.
19. CUSTOM PROJECTS AND SEPARATE AGREEMENTS
Custom kitchen projects, contractor orders, professional orders, installation projects, or other transactions governed by a separate estimate, proposal, invoice, contract, or written agreement may contain cancellation, payment, change-order, or refund terms specific to that transaction.
When applicable, those specific written terms also govern the applicable project.
20. NO AUTOMATIC FULL-ORDER REPLACEMENT
An approved claim involving one component does not automatically entitle the customer to:
- Return the entire order
- Receive an entirely new kitchen
- Replace unaffected cabinets or modules
- Receive a complete refund
Valper will determine the appropriate remedy based on the actual affected component and the nature of the approved issue, subject to applicable law and warranty rights.
When replacement of an individual component reasonably restores the product, Valper may use that remedy.
