WARRANTY POLICY
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
Valper Home Solutions LLC stands behind the quality and construction of its outdoor cabinetry.
Our cabinetry is designed and manufactured for outdoor applications using an aluminum structural system and selected exterior-grade materials and components. Like any outdoor product, proper care, cleaning, installation, and normal use are important to maintaining its appearance and performance over time.
This Warranty Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Cancellations Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1. VALPER LIMITED WARRANTY
Valper Home Solutions provides a 10-year limited warranty on Valper aluminum cabinet construction and King StarBoard® components, subject to the conditions, exclusions, maintenance requirements, and claim procedures described in this policy.
Other materials, finishes, hardware, accessories, and third-party products may carry separate warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.
A manufacturer’s warranty does not automatically extend or modify Valper’s own limited warranty.
2. ALUMINUM CABINET CONSTRUCTION
Valper cabinetry is structurally manufactured in aluminum, including aluminum reinforcement in critical areas where additional structural support is required.
The Valper 10-year limited warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects affecting the aluminum cabinet construction under normal intended use and reasonable care.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, modification, impact, misuse, neglect, abnormal conditions, or lack of reasonable maintenance.
3. KING STARBOARD® ST
Valper’s 10-year limited warranty applies to qualifying King StarBoard® components supplied and fabricated by Valper, subject to normal use, proper installation, reasonable cleaning, and the other conditions contained in this policy.
Normal surface wear, damage caused by external forces, improper cleaning, modification, or lack of reasonable maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect.
4. ACM COMPONENTS
ACM components supplied by Valper may be covered by applicable manufacturer warranties according to the specific product used.
Manufacturer warranty coverage, duration, limitations, and remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer.
Valper will reasonably assist customers in identifying the applicable material and, when appropriate, in addressing a qualifying manufacturer warranty issue.
5. CLIMACORE® COMPONENTS
Climacore® components may carry manufacturer warranty coverage according to the specific product and application.
Any manufacturer warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s own requirements, exclusions, installation conditions, maintenance requirements, and claim procedures.
A manufacturer’s stated warranty period for Climacore® should not be interpreted as a warranty of the same duration covering the complete Valper kitchen or unrelated Valper components.
6. HARDWARE AND COMPONENTS
Hinges, drawer slides, hardware, accessories, and other components may carry warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.
When a qualifying component issue occurs, Valper may determine that replacement of the affected component is the appropriate remedy rather than replacement of the complete cabinet or kitchen.
7. APPLIANCES AND THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS
BBQ grills, refrigerators, side burners, sinks, ice makers, faucets, appliances, and other third-party products are subject to the warranties provided by their respective manufacturers when applicable.
Valper does not extend a manufacturer’s appliance warranty or independently guarantee a third-party product beyond any written warranty expressly provided by Valper.
Customers should retain applicable product documentation, serial numbers, and proof of purchase.
8. PROPER CARE IS REQUIRED
Warranty coverage requires reasonable care and maintenance of the cabinetry.
Valper outdoor cabinetry is designed for normal outdoor use, but outdoor use does not mean that the cabinetry should be permanently neglected or abandoned without reasonable cleaning and care.
Customers should:
- Keep cabinetry reasonably clean.
- Remove accumulated dirt, grease, food residue, salt deposits, environmental residue, and other contaminants.
- Clean spills and stains within a reasonable period.
- Avoid allowing unnecessary accumulation of standing debris or contaminants.
- Use cleaning products appropriate for the applicable material.
- Inspect and maintain the kitchen periodically.
- Address visible maintenance issues before they become significantly worse.
The frequency of cleaning may depend on the installation environment and level of use.
9. ABANDONED OR NEGLECTED OUTDOOR KITCHENS
The warranty does not cover conditions caused primarily by prolonged abandonment, neglect, lack of cleaning, or lack of reasonable maintenance.
An outdoor kitchen that remains unused and unattended for extended periods may accumulate environmental contaminants, dirt, organic material, salt, grease, standing debris, or other substances capable of affecting its appearance or components.
Staining, discoloration, surface deterioration, buildup, or other conditions resulting from prolonged neglect or lack of reasonable maintenance are not considered manufacturing defects.
The fact that cabinetry is designed for outdoor use does not eliminate the owner’s responsibility to provide reasonable care.
10. COASTAL AND HARSH ENVIRONMENTS
Outdoor kitchens installed in coastal, marine, high-humidity, high-salt, poolside, or other demanding environments may require more frequent cleaning and maintenance.
Salt, chemicals, airborne contaminants, pool chemicals, environmental deposits, and similar substances should not be allowed to accumulate unnecessarily on cabinetry, hardware, or other components.
Damage or deterioration caused primarily by prolonged accumulation of environmental contaminants without reasonable cleaning or maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect.
11. CLEANING
Customers should use reasonable cleaning methods appropriate for the particular material.
Unless specifically approved for the applicable component, avoid unnecessarily aggressive chemicals, abrasive cleaning methods, or tools that may damage surfaces or finishes.
Different materials may have different manufacturer-recommended cleaning procedures.
When uncertain, customers may contact Valper before using a particular chemical or cleaning method.
12. WHAT IS COVERED
Subject to the specific component warranty and all conditions of this policy, qualifying coverage may include manufacturing defects involving:
- Valper aluminum cabinet construction
- Covered King StarBoard® components
- Qualifying fabrication defects
- Qualifying material defects covered by an applicable manufacturer warranty
- Covered hardware or components according to applicable warranty terms
A warranty claim is evaluated based on the affected component and the cause of the reported condition.
13. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly covered by a specific written warranty, warranty coverage does not include damage or conditions resulting from:
- Improper installation
- Improper handling
- Accidents or impact
- Misuse or abuse
- Unauthorized modification
- Improper storage
- Lack of reasonable cleaning
- Prolonged neglect or abandonment
- Use of inappropriate chemicals
- Abrasive cleaning damage
- Damage caused by contractors or installers
- Damage caused by other third parties
- Improper appliance installation
- Incorrect plumbing, electrical, or gas work
- Conditions resulting from customer-supplied incorrect dimensions or specifications
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage occurring during transportation that should be handled under the Shipping & Delivery Policy
- Environmental buildup that was not reasonably cleaned or maintained
14. NORMAL WEAR AND APPEARANCE
Outdoor products naturally experience use and environmental exposure.
Minor cosmetic changes resulting from normal use and aging do not automatically constitute a manufacturing defect.
Normal variations in color, grain, pattern, texture, sheen, or appearance characteristic of a particular material are also not automatically considered defects.
Digital photographs, renders, displays, and samples may not reproduce colors or textures identically to the finished physical product.
15. SCRATCHES AND REPLACEABLE COMPONENTS
A scratch or issue affecting an individual replaceable component does not automatically require replacement of the complete cabinet, module, or kitchen.
Depending on the product, serviceable or replaceable components may include:
- Doors
- Drawer fronts
- Panels
- Hinges
- Drawer hardware
- Other individual components
When a qualifying warranty issue can reasonably be corrected through replacement of an affected component, Valper may provide that component rather than replace the entire cabinet or kitchen.
16. VALPER-RESPONSIBLE ISSUES
If Valper determines that a qualifying issue resulted from an error or defect for which Valper Home Solutions is responsible, Valper will provide the appropriate covered remedy.
When replacement of an individual component reasonably resolves the issue, Valper may provide that replacement component at no cost to the customer, including applicable shipment of the replacement component.
Valper may also provide instructional videos, written instructions, or reasonable technical guidance when appropriate.
17. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIMS
Certain materials and components used in Valper cabinetry may carry manufacturer warranties that extend 10 years or more, depending on the manufacturer and specific product.
Those warranties remain subject to the manufacturer’s current written terms.
When applicable, Valper may reasonably assist the original purchaser with identifying the product or documentation necessary to pursue a manufacturer warranty claim.
Valper does not control a manufacturer’s claim decision and cannot expand a manufacturer’s warranty beyond its written terms.
18. WARRANTY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
To request warranty assistance, the customer should provide:
- Customer name
- Original order number or proof of purchase
- Description of the issue
- Photographs of the complete cabinet or kitchen
- Detailed photographs of the affected component
- Video when reasonably necessary to demonstrate the issue
- Installation information when relevant
- Any other information reasonably necessary to determine the cause of the condition
Valper may request additional documentation before determining warranty eligibility.
19. INSPECTION AND EVALUATION
Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically establish that a product is defective.
Valper must be given a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the condition and determine:
- The affected component
- The likely cause
- Whether the condition is covered
- Whether manufacturer warranty coverage applies
- The appropriate remedy
Customers should not discard, substantially modify, or destroy an affected component while a claim is being evaluated unless instructed by Valper.
20. WARRANTY REMEDIES
Depending on the nature of an approved claim, Valper may provide an appropriate remedy such as:
- Replacement component
- Replacement material
- Repair guidance
- Instructional video
- Technical assistance
- Assistance with an applicable manufacturer warranty
Replacement of an entire cabinet or kitchen is not required when replacement or correction of the affected component reasonably resolves the approved issue.
21. SHIPPING OF APPROVED REPLACEMENT COMPONENTS
When an approved warranty issue is determined to be Valper’s responsibility, Valper will cover applicable shipping for the replacement component.
For manufacturer-warranty claims, shipping, labor, replacement, and other costs may be subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms.
22. LABOR AND THIRD-PARTY COSTS
Unless expressly approved by Valper in writing before the work is performed, warranty coverage does not automatically include third-party labor, contractor charges, removal costs, reinstallation costs, plumbing, electrical work, gas work, countertop work, appliance work, travel expenses, or other consequential expenses.
Customers should contact Valper before hiring a third party to perform work they expect Valper to cover.
23. ORIGINAL ORDER AND PROOF OF PURCHASE
Warranty service may require proof of the original Valper purchase.
Customers should retain their order confirmation, invoice, receipt, and applicable product documentation.
Manufacturer warranties may have additional registration or proof-of-purchase requirements.
24. SHIPPING DAMAGE IS SEPARATE
Damage occurring during transportation is governed by Valper’s Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Visible or concealed shipping damage must be reported to Valper within 48 hours after delivery.
Transportation damage should not be submitted as a long-term manufacturing warranty claim when it was present at the time of delivery.
25. WARRANTY DOES NOT CREATE A RETURN RIGHT
An approved warranty claim does not automatically create a right to return the complete order or receive a complete refund.
Valper may fulfill an approved warranty claim by repairing or replacing the affected component when that remedy reasonably addresses the covered issue.
Returns and cancellations remain governed by the separate Returns & Cancellations Policy.
